A Vertical Three-Phase Common-Mode Choke is a magnetic EMI filtering component designed to suppress common-mode electromagnetic interference in three-phase AC power circuits. It uses three phase windings arranged on a shared magnetic core, with a vertical construction that provides a compact installation footprint and convenient mounting.
During normal three-phase operation, the magnetic flux generated by the balanced operating currents largely cancels, while common-mode noise currents generate reinforcing magnetic flux in the core. This creates high impedance to unwanted common-mode noise while maintaining relatively low impedance for normal operating current.
Its compact vertical structure, balanced three-phase winding arrangement, and flexible electrical design make it suitable for inverters, variable frequency drives, renewable energy systems, EV charging equipment, industrial power supplies, and other three-phase power electronic applications.

Working Principle
A Vertical Three-Phase Common-Mode Choke operates by using three phase windings on a common magnetic core to provide high impedance to unwanted common-mode noise while allowing normal three-phase operating current to pass through the circuit.
Under balanced three-phase operating conditions, the magnetic flux produced by the normal phase currents largely cancels within the core. In contrast, common-mode noise currents flowing in the same direction through the phase windings produce additive magnetic flux, increasing the common-mode inductive impedance of the choke.
Because the impedance of the choke increases with the frequency-dependent behavior of the magnetic circuit, unwanted high-frequency common-mode noise is attenuated as it passes through the filter. The vertical winding structure also supports a compact and mechanically stable
