The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standard CISPR 22/32 stipulates that electronic equipment must control radiated interference in the 30MHz-1GHz frequency band within specified limits. The design of EMI filters must meet the following requirements:

Insertion Loss: Within the target frequency band, the filter's noise attenuation must exceed a specified threshold (e.g., ≥40dB@100MHz for medical equipment).

Impedance Matching: Input/output impedances must match the source and load impedances to avoid reflected noise.

Withstand Voltage and Temperature Rise: The filter must pass high-voltage testing (e.g., 2500V AC/1 minute) and long-term temperature rise testing (e.g., continuous operation at 85°C for 1000 hours).
